Easter - Crazy About Cricut DT Project

Happy Thursday and welcome to Thankful Thursday with Crazy About Cricut! And may I say that I have quite a bit to be thankful for and so do you.  Being in my right mind is enough of a blessing alone for me.  Everything else is icing on the cake!

For today's project, we are featuring our Easter projects.  I decided to FINALLY make Resurrection Cookies with the kiddos.  Two of our little friends from Charlotte came up to see Danita and Daylon run at track meets these last two days.

I found the recipe at Annie's Resurrection Cookies.  Here are several pictures of kiddos mixing the cookies and  the final cookie which is symbolic of the empty tomb.  That's the greatest gift anyone could give.

Well...I hope you enjoy our cookies and take some time out to spend with your families this Easter.  Head on over to Crazy About Cricut to see the wonderful project by my fellow DT sisters.  I've had a sneak peek and it's some great work!  Scrappy Hugs~

DRUMROLL PLEASE.......

They are hollow just like the tomb was.  One of the boys said, "Eww went in and Umm came out.  Just like Jesus did for our sins!"  They got it!  Thank you Jesus.

Hi Christel,

Looks like you had a great time with kids! I am so happy you talked about the real meaning of Easter. That really is so important in these days of bunnies and eggs! :)

Thanks for sharing your family with us today... those cookies look wonderful, I'll have to take a look for the recipe.

Oh my goodness! What an awesome project to share! Just seeing the pic at Crazy About Cricut didn't do these wonderful creations justice! I'm so happy I popped by to see the details! They look like they had a great time making these and that comment one of the boys said is priceless!
