I haven't made a pillow box in for-evah! So bright and cheery! Love the framing with the white gel pen.
Wedding memories . . . just glad we got married at all! My poor husband was so sick, he was flat on his back for 3 weeks. Had to change all our plans at the last minute and got married in my best friend's living room. He stood up with me, said "I do." and went back to bed! :) Still counts though!!!

My favorite memory form my wedding is the sunset in Key West.

I love the bright colors! Wonderful job!
My favorite part of my wedding was when my hubby and I got to the hotel and I put on my comfy clothes and we had a quiet dinner for two--one of the only times I got to talk to him that day!
Amanda (als1048@gmail.com)
Those bright and cheery wedding favors would themselves make a sweet memory at any wedding, including William and Kate's!
As for my fav memory of my wedding, which one? I mean, which wedding/marriage? Ummmm, well, I've been married twice (different guys!) but my fav memories both involve my Godfather, Richard.
At the first wedding to Brian, Brian's aunt Elaine got WAY too tipsy and started to fall backwards. Richard -- ever gallant -- caught her. Perhaps his save (catching her under arms) was indelicate, but Elaine came to and slapped him across the face. Poor Richard!!
At my wedding to John, my DH and forever-hubby, my Richard-memory happened after the reception. Richard, married to Janet, were staying in the same small but elegant inn where our suite was on the first floor, theirs on the second. Janet may have had a little too much to drink too (I detect a theme!). Their room had many doors in it -- one to the closet, another to the bathroom, another to the balcony, another to the adjoining room, another to the hallway. Anywhoo, Janet -- sleeping nakies, we are told -- got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and apparently used the wrong door. Groggy, she had exited into the hallway in her "birthday suit"! She lightly knocked on the door, whispering RICHARD, RICHARD so as not to awake other guests in the inn and thus calling attention to her plight and nakedness. Richard however is hard of hearing and is a deep-sleeper. Panicked, and really having to use the bathroom, Janet found an empty and unlocked bedroom across the hall, went in, used the bathroom, and crawled into bed. A few hours later, Richard awoke to see Janet missing! He did what every guy would (well, maybe not so much) -- he called 9-1-1 to report his missing wife!
The police descended in full force, with blood sniffing canines and everything. Lights and sirens, the place crawling with officers and flashlights in the woods surrounding the inn. In due course in that dead of night, the bloodhounds were allowed into the inn and immediately found Janet safe and sound asleep through the commotion, in the room across the hall! The funniest part of the story (as if it wasn't already amusing) is that our town's not THAT big, so this was front-page news. Poor Richard!!!
Thank you for being a special part of this CardMonkey-hosted Hop!

I just love your pillow boxes. Pinks and Oranges and Zebra....what's not to love. I am happy to be a new follower of your amazing talent. I am having a lot of fun during the hop. My favorite memory of a wedding I attended was snagging a bunch of the bubble favors from a basket to blow "crazy" amounts of bubbles on the couple as the exited the church. I love bubbles.
:O)

Oh I love these pillow boxes. Great colors. I'm not married yet (though engaged) but I can always remember my sisters wedding when my dad was ranting about something and my tipsy brother (ok, he was a bit past tipsy lol) said "chill old man and enjoy the festivities". Everybody got a kick out of it except for my dad lol.

Awesome favor boxes, Christel! Love the bright colors!! My favorite recent wedding memory was my daughter's wedding ~ watching her and my Son-in-law nervously say their "I do's" and then watching them dance with her little sister at the reception. Too sweet!

I love these favor boxes. Very pretty!
My favorite wedding memory was my sister's wedding. My son was in the wedding and was young. The guys in the party wore kilts. My poor son, until the day of the wedding, thought he had to go traditional (no undies underneath). He was mortified and was just so funny about it. The wedding was the best too because all our family came together for the first time in years -- it was beautiful and magical.
I'm a new follower. Love your site.

Wonderful boxes...definitely put me in the mood for SPRING! :O)
I have several favorite memories from my wedding. One was having to change the venue the day before, as well as find a different officiant. Then there was having the wedding at my mother's house, where there was a portrait of my father (he had passed away about 20 years before that) and it was almost like having him there. Then there was my brother holding up DH's and my 5 month old son to catch the garter, as they were the only two bachelors there! *lol*

Your project is so cute!
Ok, I'm gonna share something very personal now... I got married in the parking lot of an ice cream parlor in the back of a minivan. Yep... had a gorgeous ceremony but got the license in the WRONG county (ugh) so my dad drove us over the border (like 5 minutes away) to legalize our vows, LOL!
TFS - Cute project. My fav memory from my wedding was my dress - it was white with a red trail - it was so pretty.

Love your site and your royal project! I have such fond memories of my wedding day. Finally being able to marry my Prince was the best! Seeing him at the end of the aisle waiting to marry me was a special moment I will never forget.
I love the boxes! I love the colors your chose too! So far, I am having a blast doing the hop. My favorite wedding memory was at mine. One of my favorite things is hitting the dance floor with all my sorority sisters. It was amazing, and I will never forget it. Plus I LOVE my wedding pics. They are EVERYWHERE around my house. Love the bright colors. My fav wedding memory is the fact that my hubby cried when I came down the aisle.
These boxes are great Christel - so versatile! love the bright cheery colors! A favorite memory from my wedding... we were married in my in-laws back yard on their putting green - yes it is true - and it is set down a couple of steps with a little "moat"that goes all around with a fountain in the corner. it was just gorgeous! and we put floating candles in the hot tub which is outside not too far from the green. It was the middle of June and my dress was a Scarlet O'Hara affair with layers of lace and hoop skirt and all but i never even noticed the heat :) That was almost 24 years ago. Thanks for sharing this fun project :)

Beautiful pillow boxes!
The most prettiest wedding I have ever seen was my friends wedding, it was outdoors and it started raining, with all of the black umbrellas it just created such a beautiful back drop...simply gorgeous!
I had a shotgun wedding of sorts and pretty much just wanted to run. But I somehow got through the day and the next eights years, AND had TWO lovely children before I got out of a really bad marriage.
I am a follower! Your little boxes are cute and great colors! My favorites memory is Going down the aisle with my brother giving me a way and seeing how my husband to be was so nervous! joydee1963 at yahoo dot com

I love your wedding pillow boxes! This hop has been so much fun! What a fantastic group of talented ladies!
Well, I have been married for almost 34 years, my dad begged me to wait until I was 20 to get married so two weeks after I turned 20 I got married...and they said it wouldn't last! I remember we were sitting at the reception and my husband squeezed my hand and said "we're married and nobody can ever come between us ever" and I smiled at him and said "no not ever" and through children, death, sickness, financial crisis, we have held each others hand and said that over and over again.

I just love pillow boxes & yours are beautiful! My favorite wedding moment was mine...2 years ago May 23rd. After a beautiful park wedding and reception my hubby and I went to our hotel room exhausted. We lived in town so I just brought a small bag with cosmetics and clothes for the morning trip home. Before I hit the bed I noticed a red light blinking on the phone. Not wanting to turn on the light I groped for the message button. All of a sudden I hear "911-whats your emergency" I explained I had hit the emergency button by mistake. I got into bed and a few short minutes later there at the door was a cute little police officer and there I was wrapped in the bed sheet trying to explain my error. It's a joke with the family...I called the police on my new husband on my honeymoon night.
*Enjoyed Ellen's story!*

Great Pillow boxes. Love the flowers on them. My favorite memory from my wedding was when my mom told me right before it started that it wasn't too late to call it off. I should have taken her up on it. That marriage only lasted 3 years.

These are so pretty and elegant. I would love to try to make some of these. My favorite wedding memory was the small intimate wedding that we had. This is my 2nd and I married the other half of me. Having our children stand up for us added to the specialness of the day.

Great pillow boxes. My favorite memory from my wedding was...we had our pictures before our ceremony so that the guests wouldn't have to wait for us. So, the coordinator cleared the church and had everyone wait outside. Bill was standing at the altar and I entered alone and walked toward him. We were all alone in the sanctuary, in the most sacred of places, each of us a little choked up over it all. It was a very special moment! :)

Christel, those are beautiful favors--even children would enjoy them!! I really like the embossing--bonus!
