BIRTH MONTH Featured Artist - Carolyn

Happy Monday! I'm SOOOOO excited! For this entire month of October, I'm celebrating my birthday by showcasing some of the wonderful scrappy friends that I have met. This has been a wonderful journey for me since I started blogging in June of last year.  Who would have thought that I would meet so many wonderful people via the internet.

Today, we have Carolyn ALL THE WAY FROM the United Kingdom. We are both on the Faith Blog Hop team.  She another amazing artist! You'll love her work.

Here is her project and a bit about her.  Enjoy her project. Be sure to stop by her blog, Mess, Muddle, and Fun, and show her some love. She does amazing work with felt.  Check out the flower that she created.

Hi, I am Carolyn from Mess, Muddle and Fun. I’m a mum to two teenagers, a wife, Christian, a crafter and as well as various papercrafts also love making felt. In fact I love making anything that means I can get a bit messy and hands on.
It is a joy to be able to be one of Christel’s guest designers for her birthday month. I met Christel through the faith blog hops, organised on facebook and have really enjoyed visiting her blog and loved her encouragement.
I decided to use one of Christel’s favourite colours, turquoise as the featured colour on this card. I layered up text from an old book and a piece of coloured card and then added ribbons to highlight the colour. As a centrepiece I added a flower cut from a scrap of my handmade felt, finished off with a button tied with cream embroidery thread.
My blog is Mess, Muddle and Fun at http://messmuddleandfun.blogspot.com/  and if anyone feels like visiting you can be sure of a welcome.
