Happy Tuesday! I'm so excited to share with you two projects that I created using one of Kristal's newest stamp sets. I'm featuring the Southern Sayings set which is right down the alley of this Southern Girl. They stamp set features some of the favorite sayings that you may hear when we SOUTHERN GURLS speak. I hope you enjoy my projects.
The first project is a card I created. It's a 5 x 7 card with embossing is many different forms. The flower was fussy cut after embossing on kraft paper. Oh, and by the way, this card features Kristal's NEW amazing twine.
This second project is a sneak peek at an altered domino that I am creating for the swap group that I host. YES, I know. The cat is out the bag. I hope the group will like them. You still have time to sign-up to participate in the swap. Check out the details in this post HERE.
The sentiment is embossed on the domino then painted with alcohol inks after stamping the butterflies with archival ink. By the way, the butterfly is from one of Kristal's NEWEST releases. Isn't it pretty? Then I blinged it up and covered the entire domino with Glossy Accents to seal it. I'm still not finished but I love this design.
Be sure to head on over to www.gettingcricky.com to check out my DT sister's projects. You will not be disappointed. Remember, I love you and there ain't NOTHING you can do about it. Until next time, peace and pause!

The Southern saying are so fun!! We lived in NC for 18 years. All of our children were born there. :-) Many fond memories. Love the card and domino!! So great to see you over at Scrap-Friendzy. I hope you'll get to play there some this summer!! ~ Blessings
