JANUARY 2013 SWAP ANNOUNCEMENT

Happy New Year! LET'S GET TO SWAPPING!! 

Please read through all the details and if you are SERIOUSLY interested, please email Shalana at nonchalantaka@yahoo.com to express your commitment to the Swap.  

For the month of January we are hosting a FANCY FOLD CARD swap. We will limit the group to 10 participants. If we have an overwhelming response we will start another group.

Make the base for a creative card fold (one for each swapper) using any color paper. Include directions on how to finish the card off and recreate the base.  If a piece needs to be embellished before gluing it together, include that in the directions and don’t glue it together. Each swapper will sign up for the card base they are creating. Sign-up for the base you would like to create on a first-come first serve basis.  If you would like to create another base that is not listed, please email us for approval. We want to see what you're working with.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

1. Send Shalana an email confirming your commitment during the sign up period which begins today and ends January 5th.  

2. Please include which type of card you'd like to create from the list above or your own personal creative stash (subject to approval). 

3. Wait for your confirmation email from me. 

4. CREATE! Please make sure you put forth your best effort…quality, quality quality! 

Further details will be mailed to you in a confirmation email so again, to sign-up, please send an email to nonchalantaka (at) yahoo (dot) com.  Remove the parenthesis and spaces.  Put "January Swap" in the subject line.  

DEADLINE:

All Swap items will be due by the 23rd of January so please have them postmarked by the 18th.   Please do not sign up if you CANNOT commit to being on time.  

Scrapping Sista has a Facebook group dedicated to these swaps so information will be posted on her blog as well as in the group.  If you are not Scrappin' Sista's (Christel Young Bonner's) Facebook friend, please send a request (include a note about who you are) and you'll be added to the group for the month.

Timeliness well be closely monitored and the status of the arrival of swaps will be posted on the Facebook group's wall. Tardiness after sitting out 2 swaps will result in your removal from the group.
