Paper Cupcake - Magical Monday 9/27 Challenge + Freebie

Nina over at the Paper Cupcake is having a wonderful color challenge. She has some really cool digi's. You should stop by and say, "Hello," and particpate in the challenge. There's still time and we want Nina to keep up the good work.

We were to use the Fall image on her site for inspiration to create a card. Also, you could just create a card using the inspiration or use one of her digi's. Well...here is my first attempt at using a digi for a card. I don't have the cool expensive Copic markers but I used some very nice colored pencils that were gifted to me. How did I do?

Here is the card I created. The card is a standard A2 size card. I used a cream cardstock from Recollections. To that, I added a deep red belly band that I embossed with the Swiss Dots. I cut the digi out using the Cricut and the center point setting It's pretty easy to do. Other than that, there's not that much to say. Enjoy!

Happy Scrappin'!

Christel, I think your card is just beautiful! My personal favorites are colored pencils and Bic Mark-its as I do not own but skin colored copics, the rest is as stated, so check out my personal blog or any of my cards are usually one either of those. I love the softness that colored pencils can bring and you have certainly accomplished that softness here. Your design is lovely, simple and clean which is sometimes hard to accomplish. Just a beautiful card! You showcased my image beautifully. Thanks for playing along with our challenge this week over at TMITA with Paper Cupcakes!

Hope to see you next week!
