Day 261 - One Stands Alone & Stamping Sisters in Christ

Happy Thursday!  I must say that I truly enjoy the challenges over at 365 Cards AND at Stamping Sisters in Christ.  Well...today I was able to combine the two into a wonderful card that I like a lot.  At 365 Cards, the challenge is to use one and only one color (besides black and white) on a card, include a stamp or digi, 2 embellishments of the same color, and NO patterned paper.  At Stamping Sisters in Christ the challenge was to either 1. Make a CAS (clean and simple) card (representing "you" needing to decrease); or 2. Make a "More is More" card, (representing that He must INCREASE); or 3. Show us a simple version of a card and then show us the "More is More" version.  This card was to be based on the scripture of the week which is John 3:30.  I do believe these challenges go nicely together and I chose to do the CAS card (not a lot of fluff).  Enjoy!

Card Recipe: 6 x 5.5 card base, flower from Forever Young cut at 5" using the center point feature (took several tries to get this right), inked edges, baroque Cuttlebug folder, MS lattice border punch, brads, ribbon, and 1 button

Happy Scrappin'!
