Goodwill "The Power of Work" Blog Hop

Welcome to the first Goodwill "The Power of Work" Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Helen's blog. Wasn't her project amazing? If you just happened upon my blog, please go to the beginning of the blog hop at STAMPERGIRL's BLOG so you can get in on ALL the action.

Today finalizes Goodwill's "the power of work" week which is a yearly effort to promote the idea of supporting your local Goodwill stores.

Our challenge was to use a Goodwill find in our project. Think of all the possibilities, it could be an altered item, or use some buttons or fabric from a vintage shirt. Through out the blog hop you will find inspiration from all the amazing bloggers in our line-up.

You have 2 ways to get your name into the winning pot - a $20 Gift Certificate from Cropstop.com, 2 Cutting files or Digital Stamps by Paper Crafting World, and the "Just a Little Note" stamp set from My Creative Time with Emma. In addition to that, some of the ladies have some giveaways too!

And that's not all use code CTAA-01 for a 10% off your purchases from Cropstop.com.

1. Leave a comment at every stop of the blog hop (13 stops = 13 comments), GO back to the beginning of the blog hop (STAMPERGIRL's BLOG) and leave your NAME in MR. LINKY.

2. Leave a comment at every stop of the blog hop (13 stops = 13 comments) AND play with us with our Goodwill challenge. GO back to the beginning of the blog hop (STAMPERGIRL's BLOG) and leave your NAME (AND THE word PROJECT) in MR. Linky. If you don't have a Goodwill store near you, then try another store like Goodwill.

I found a great glass container.  Since Father's Day is next month, I decided to alter the jar into a candy jar for my husband. He loves candy and so I will drop treats in there for him every once and awhile.  The etching is easy and I hope you'll try it some time. I used my Gypsy and Cricut vinyl to create my project.

Now let's hop to the next stop! Your next Goodwill stop is Roberta. Scrappy hugs!
