Happy Wednesday and welcome to another Cooking With Cricut challenge. This week's challenge is to use hearts and/or flowers to create something for your sweet. I decided since I have 4 children that I needed to create their cards for V-day this year. Here's another card. This one is for one of my daughters. I haven't decided which one though.
I used some brown cardstock from my Recollections collection, patterned paper from my stash, and some pink cardstock also from my collection that I embossed with hearts (Market Street Stamps) using iridescent embossing powder. I used a heart that I had left over from a recent swap. I stamped a face using Peachy Keen Stamps Everyday Faces stamps. The embossed sentiment is also from Market Street Stamps. That was a prize that I won and I'm so glad I did. The ribbon was the finishing touch and was from my stash. I hope you enjoy my card! Be sure to hop on over to Cooking With Cricut and check out the DT inspiration. There's tons of eye candy there. Also, jump right in on the challenge this week and let us see your flowers and hearts.
NOW...I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to those who participated in my very first challenge. It was a last minute decision but was fun. You guys really did a great job. I'm coming around to each blog to share some love in a few. I have an ill child at home so I'm tending to him right now. He wants to do projects. We'll see! Anyhoo...the winners chosen by our famous celebrity Randy (Random.org) are....
